\nWho requires registration?
\nEach physical or legal entity that wants to undertake the administration of assets which is comparable to management, meaning activity consisting of the collection of finances for the purpose of their collective investment based on a specified investment strategy. Such entities must be registered in the register kept by the Czech National Bank according to Section 596(f) of Act No. 240/2013 Coll., on Management Companies and Investment Funds.
\nThe alternative fund manager (for example, of a registered s.r.o. - limited liability company) may not offer its services publicly (we will help set the form of publicity). An alternative fund is intended for a limited number of retail investors and an unlimited number of qualifying investors (we will help set the right numbers). An alternative fund is registered with the Czech National Bank, but is not subject to its supervision.
\nIn what can an alternative fund invest?
\nAn alternative fund according to Section 15 of the Act on Management Companies and Investment Funds may invest in any assets, primarily:
\n- \n
- investment instruments (shares, bonds, funds, ETF, etc.) \n
- derivatives (CFD, options, futures, leveraged investment instruments and securities, etc.) \n
- commodities (gold, silver, crude oil, etc.) \n
- real estate (directly, SPV real estate, etc.) \n
- cryptoassets (directly BTC, LTC, ETH, etc., through derivatives) \n
- collector’s items (collections of paintings, stamps, coins, vintage cars, etc.) \n
- \n
- any other asset that can be held and valued \n
What will we do for you?
\n- \n
- we will assign a personal project manager to you, who will handle the entire registration process so that it is ready to go \n
- if you do not already have one, we will set up an s.r.o. (limited liability company) or an a.s. (joint stock company) for you \n
- we will prepare an application for registration at the Czech National Bank and all attachments \n
- we will create a precise and complete investment strategy in line with your plan \n
- we will prepare client documentation, an investor contract, investment strategy, commercial terms and conditions, price list, GDPR solution \n
- if required by law, we will compile measures to combat money-laundering (AML/CFT) for the fund \n

What will we need from you to do all this?

- identification of the alternative fund manager (for example, Ltd.) \n
- information about what the fund will invest in \n
- basic information about focus on a type of investors \n
- anticipated volume of assets under management \n
How long will it take?
\nWe will prepare the registration of an alternative fund and client contractual documentation within 14 days.
